Visma IT & Communications is looking for a passionate, highly motivated Network Manager to help maintain, scale and automate a complex network that covers public cloud (AWS, Azure), several data centers and offices.
You must have a drive to develop high quality processes that will run in an unusually complex technical environment. Master's or Bachelor's degree in related fields, preferably network and public cloud area, with an overall minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
In depth knowledge of network design, technologies and new trends like software defined network and converged infrastructure
In depth knowledge of processes, research and performance analysis capabilities
Negotiation capabilities and problem solving mindset
Understanding of IT network tools - an advantage
Understanding the IT Service industry as well as the relevant marketplace
Effectively cope with change; comfortably adjust to alterations in work activities; able to decide and act with limited information; effectively handle risk and uncertainty in ambiguous situations
Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem solving skills in a variety of situations

Manage the Visma IT & Communications network related program/tools on an integrated platform, ensuring along the way all documentation necessary for conducting daily activities within Visma IT & Communications AS.
Actively contribute to further developing of the Infrastructure Department in cooperation with the Team Manager / Director of Development Department.
As a technical manager within the Networking team you will be expected to drive operational excellence in everything we do. This includes creating sane processes, procedures and automation to improve efficiency in our day-to-day tasks and projects.
Make plan for developing Visma IT network services, including recommending hardware and software acquisitions
Work closely on supporting our customers and ensuring that we capture and meet SLA’s and agreed requirements
Evaluate new features and related products closely connected to them.
Maintain and enforce digital security within the network area
Tuning and capacity management of network services
Performing routine audits of systems and software.
Produce periodic and accurate management reports.
