Visma IT & Communications is looking for a passionate, highly motivated Network Manager to help maintain, scale and automate a complex network that covers several data centers and offices in Oslo, Norway.
You must have a drive to develop high quality processes that will run in an unusually complex technical environment. Master's or Bachelor's degree in related fields, with an overall minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
In depth knowledge of network design, technologies and new trends like software defined network and converged infrastructure

Manage the Visma IT & Communications network related program/tools on an integrated platform, ensuring along the way all documentation necessary for conducting daily activities within Visma IT & Communications AS.
Actively contribute to further developing of the Infrastructure Department in cooperation with the Team Manager / Director of Development Department.
As a technical manager within the Networking team you will be expected to drive operational excellence in everything we do. This includes creating sane processes, procedures and automation to improve efficiency in our day-to-day tasks and projects.
Make plan for developing Visma IT network services, including recommending hardware and software acquisitions
Work closely on supporting our customers and ensuring that we capture and meet SLA’s and agreed requirements
Evaluate new features and related products closely connected to them.
Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures.
Maintain and enforce digital security within the network area
Tuning and capacity management of network services
Performing routine audits of systems and software.
Produce periodic and accurate management reports.
