We are looking for a Team Manager with excellent technical skills

Visma IT & Communications (VITC) is looking for a service minded, passionate and technical highly skilled Team Manager for our Local Support team in Oslo, where we provide local support to approx 600 end-users at Visma headquarters.
The local support team consists of four including you, and you will refer to the Global Local Support Department Manager in Denmark. In Global Local Support you will have VITC colleagues in Romania and Denmark, and you will have collaboration with Visma customers across the Group.
You will have the responsibility for the team in Oslo making sure that we deliver on time - both on day-to-day tasks and in projects. You will be executing on operational tasks and projects yourself together with your people related- and administrative tasks as Manager.
The right candidate for the job understands the importance of good service, teamwork, a smile and have the ability to execute and deliver
People Management; 1:1 meetings, Performance Management conversations, team meetings etc.
Participate in projects
Participate in strategy work
Participate in end user support, such as:
Troubleshooting, both software and hardware related issues
Installation of workstation, applications and printers
Handling of AV equipment in conference rooms
Handle security cases related to workstations
Handle local network related issues
Management of multiple operating systems
Reporting and administration
Education within IT is required, job experience within the relevant field is preferred
Experience with People Management is preferred
Customer oriented and welcoming behaviour is a must
Experience working with multiple Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, OS X, Chrome OS)
Knowledge and experience working with MDT/SCCM and AD is preferred
Effectively cope with change; comfortably adjust to alterations in work activities
Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem solving skills in a variety of situations
Highly effective written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and experience dealing effectively with a wide range of people
Familiar with Google for Work is a plus
English on an elevated level
Fluency in one (or more) of the Scandinavian languages is required
Fast learner - research capabilities for obtaining required information
We would prefer that you have experience from an Internal IT/Local support feature and if you are certified in ITIL and LEAN principles and used to working agile it’s an advantage

You must have a drive and passion for servicing our colleagues, be able to guide and participate in technical troubleshooting and have flair - preferably experience - with people management
