About the job

Visma IT & Communications is looking for a passionate Test and Validation Manager.

You must have a drive to develop high quality processes that will run in an unusually complex technical environment. You will be a member of IT Operations department, where your skills and contributions to manage our Test and Validation area will be very visible. You must love to help team members and to receive help from them. The team is international so you will use English both written and orally. Your skills:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in related fields, preferably IT area, with an overall minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

  • In depth knowledge of processes, research and performance analysis capabilities

  • Problem solving mindset

  • Understanding the IT Service industry as well as the relevant marketplace

  • Effectively cope with change; comfortably adjust to alterations in work activities; able to decide and act with limited information; effectively handle risk and uncertainty in ambiguous situations

  • Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem solving skills in a variety of situations

  • Highly effective written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and experience dealing effectively with a wide range of people

  • Digital skills (i.e. Google for Work apps).

  • Fluency in Business English is required

  • Customer oriented behaviour

  • Fast learner - research capabilities for obtaining required information.

  • Competence in testing (on top of testing and testing methodology)

  • Passion for Testing and Quality

  • Certification ISTQB is a plus

 

Tasks:

  • Strive towards  testing principles

  • Provide support in planning the test activities of new releases

  • Measure the testing process compliance

  • Provide support in the creation of the Testing Models

  • Provide information to the Service Owners in order to help them to make the correct decisions when it comes to release of the services, based upon quality criteria set by the team

  • Support teams to identify scenarios for automated/non automated testing

  • Assist (Instruct, guidance) with creation and maintenance of automated tests where applicable

  • Assist with writing user stories and test scenarios

  • Assist with functional and non-functional testing of the service

  • Define test base on the approved architecture.

  • Work towards continuous improvement of the delivery processes for new Visma IT & Communications services

  • Involved in the Continuous Service Improvement Process

  • Deliver the testing process according to the Visma IT & Communications  QMS
