About the job
Visma IT & Communications is looking for a passionate Solution Manager to strengthen our ASP team.
You must have a drive to develop high quality processes that will run in an unusually complex technical environment.
You will be part of a team that works closely with the infrastructure team, to build and operate platforms delivering applications and services, either through the web or through Remote Desktop Services. Solutions are hosted both in Visma Data Centers and Public Cloud.
These platforms are hosting both internal Visma companies and external customers.
You must love to help team members and to receive help from them. The team is international so you will use English both written and orally.

Master's or Bachelor's degree within IT area, with an overall minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Experience in implementing and operating applications and services in an enterprise environment.
Negotiation capabilities and problem solving mindset
Knowledge or experience with ERP and Payroll applications, supporting services and third party integrations is preferable.
Understanding the IT Service industry as well as the relevant marketplace
Effectively cope with change; comfortably adjust to alterations in work activities; able to decide and act with limited information; effectively handle risk and uncertainty in ambiguous situations
Experience from IT operation environments and ITIL Processes.
Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem solving skills in a variety of situations
Highly effective written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and experience dealing effectively with a wide range of people
Digital skills (i.e. Google for Work apps).
Fluency in Business English is required
Customer oriented behaviour
Fast learner - research capabilities for obtaining required information.
Technical qualifications/knowledge within some of these fields:
Microsoft Windows Server 2016 R2/2019.
Group Policy Management
Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2017.
Terminal services/Remote Desktop Services.
Deployment: Citrix Provisioning Services(PVS), Citrix Machine Creation Services(MCS) and/or Microsoft App-V
Experience with Cloud Services
Installing, configuring and maintaining existing applications and services.
Releasing, testing and quality assurance of both new and existing applications and services.
Design and build new secure and highly available platforms together with the infrastructure team.
Documentation and knowledge transfer to other team members and the Visma IT&C organization.
Actively contribute to further development of processes and routines in cooperation with the Team manager/other departments.
