Senior software developer (.Net/C#)

HRM Payroll Core is a group that provides payroll services in the areas of payroll calculation and management, employee contract and company data management and reporting. We are an internal platform provider on which other Visma teams build their market segment specific SaaS offerings on top of.

We are organized in autonomous, cross-functional teams being responsible for the development and the operations of multiple financial services. We are preparing for high growth and want you to come help us build more microservices on Amazon Web Services.

In this job, you will:

• Be part of an autonomous team and work on projects that impact our society

• Develop and test systems to meet customer needs 

• Estimate work effort with task breakdown and verify approach and estimates with supervisor and team, to support forecasting

• Verify the code by designing, implementing, and executing automated tests

• Configure and deploy the service

• Monitor the service and system health

• Debug, Profile, and analyze problems

• Collaborate with the development team conducting code reviews and providing improvement suggestions

• Cooperate efficiently in the international environment with a team of strong professionals

Technical qualifications:

• Awareness of, and ability to estimate and measure algorithmic complexity and memory usage of code. We rely on high-performance implementations in order to scale while keeping cost down.

• Knowledge of fundamental properties of the machine, such as stack and heap -- and how that relates to .NET constructs.

• .NET Core, .NET Framework

• Understanding of CLR and CoreCLR

• Experience with frameworks such as ASP.NET, MVC, WEB API and ASP.NET Core is a plus

• Experience with relational databases and NoSQL

• Experience with event-driven architectures is a plus

• Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure

• Containers, serverless, Linux, monitoring

• A higher education degree within computer science/engineering
