Infrastructure Engineer

We are hiring an experienced infrastructure engineer to join our R&D team. Your expertise include  infrastructure, operations, monitoring, deployment and automation, and you have a genuine interest in experimenting with the latest technologies.

We offer you a driving and exciting position in a team of 36 experienced people, developing two rapidly growing integrated services. Visma Fivaldi is a solution for accounting and business administration and Visma Payroll is a solution for payroll calculation and reporting. Combined we serve more than 40 000 users. 

Our Payroll services are built with Java EE and SQL, with deployments done using Docker and Jenkins. We’re in the process of moving all of our services to public cloud and implementing full CI/CD capabilities. You will be a key person in enabling the growth and success of our products and services by ensuring that our service delivery is robust and highly automated, while also helping our development teams to embrace DevOps principles, practices and culture. 

We are looking for: 

• Experience of automation, logging and monitoring

• Experience of AWS and operating cloud-based services

• Experience of Python or other scripting and programming languages

• Experience of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation

• Knowledge about DevOps and Continuous Delivery

This position requires fluent English skills, as the team is distributed between Romania and Finland. A bachelor's degree or higher in a related field is appreciated.
