Visma IT & Communications is looking for a passionate System Engineer for Endpoint Configuration Manager/Intune
You must have the drive to develop high-quality processes that will run in an unusually complex technical environment. You will be a member of the IT Delivery Department, where your skills and contributions to manage our System Configuration area will be very visible.
Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune are the main tools used, in addition to other tools covering other areas (Mac, Linux, 3rd party patching).
You must love to help team members and to receive help from them. The team is international so you will use English both written and orally. Master's or Bachelor's degree in related fields, preferably Computer Science area, with an overall minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of Windows server and client operating systems (certifications are considered an advantage)
Strong Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune knowledge
Experienced in managing EPP & EDR solutions
Experienced in implementing best practices in order to improve overall endpoint security
Strong scripting skills (Powershell is a must)
SSRS skills, MSSQL is an advantage
Knowledge of macOS and Linux operating systems is an advantage
Knowledge of management software like Jamf, Snow, PatchMyPC (3rd party patching) is an advantage
ITIL Foundation Certification is an advantage
Cloud security certification is an advantage
In-depth knowledge of processes, research, and performance analysis capabilities
Negotiation capabilities and problem-solving mindset;
Understanding the IT Service industry as well as the relevant marketplace;
Effectively cope with change; comfortably adjust to alterations in work activities; able to decide and act with limited information; effectively handle risk and uncertainty in ambiguous situations;
Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem-solving skills in a variety of situations;
Be proactive and communicative;
Team focused on sharing knowledge and increasing the skills of the whole team;
Highly effective written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and experience dealing effectively with a wide range of people;
Fluency in Business English is required;
Fast learner - research capabilities for obtaining the required information.
Would like to work primarily with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune initiatives;
Perform daily infrastructure and client health monitoring and repair issues;
Manage system configurations, operating system deployments, patching, application deployments, and reporting for all relevant areas;
Improve overall deployments compliance by implementing best practices;
Assist in ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures;
Support and process customer requests for system and configuration updates;
Focus on continual service improvement;
Design & implement processes in an agile and process-driven way that will be possible to manage stably in a complex environment;
Actively contribute to the further development of the Endpoint Protection area in cooperation with the Service Owner and Security Department;
Drive innovation and automation of computer solutions both internally and for our customers;
Use scripting languages and tools to automate tasks and change management;
Actively contribute to further development of the IT Delivery Department in cooperation with the Infrastructure Manager.
