What does the role of Business Analyst entail?
You will play an important role in the development of our HRM Software and you shape our solution to unburden and support our customers in their crucial HRM Processes. You’ll describe solutions in a diversity of areas in the HRM landscape in the Netherlands such as sickness, leave, expense claims, employees personal data & contracts, electronic document storage, technical and functional interfaces with various (other) systems and workflow processes. You analyze the impact of law & legislation and CLA regulations for a wide range of market segments in which our customers operate. You maintain close contact with customers, users and internal stakeholders and you give support to them and proactively collect feedback with the aim of making our products even better. You are able to communicate improvements clearly and in English (both verbally and in writing) to our international development team which you are part of. You assess the software for usability and create documentation such as manuals and release notes. Finally, together with the Product Owners, you provide input to the product and development manager about what is important to include in our release plans.
What do we ask of you?
We are looking for a passionate colleague who, together with us, will put Visma.net on the Dutch market! You have good communication skills, you know how to get things done and you have a hands-on mentality. It is important that you can work well together, both within a software development team as well as with our customers and consultants and project leads in the business unit. We expect you to build fine relationships with our stakeholders and customers.
You are not afraid of complex situations and easily unravel and articulate those into practical software solutions.
The knowledge you have gained during analysis you gladly elaborate about with the team and stakeholders and easily document and present your findings.
You love digging into details, are analytical and can easily move from high level focus back to the details.
Clearly understand customer and business needs, complexities and impact.
In your world HRM processes do not have any secrets and know how to arrange them in the HRM software for the best outcome.
You have gained experience implementing HRM Software and/or supported customers with their HRM system.
You find it very important that features should be easy to use, useful and unburden end users.
You are open minded, inspiring and result oriented, you bring creative solutions and process improvements.
You like to work with a team, but do not find it a problem to take on and complete tasks independently.
You are able to express yourself in good English both verbally and in writing and use sketches to clarify solutions.
Result is the ultimate focus rather than to be only compliant to methods and processes and role descriptions.
You have some affinity with agile software development processes and methods.
