Visma IT is looking for a passionate Junior Support Consultant to join our team in the Service Desk department. Students and fresh graduates are welcome to apply!
You will be a member of a global diverse Service Desk team, where you will be responsible for 1st line support to Visma employees from different companies. You will be the first point of contact for all IT-related incidents and service requests. You must have a passion for supporting users and working in a team. The user base and team is international so you will use English both written and orally.

Supporting our clients both as front-line helpdesk support and supporting clients onsite in Amersfoort.
Evaluate and prioritize incoming telephone calls, e-mail, in-person requests and tickets and monitoring the queue in the ticketing system
Troubleshooting issues on computer hardware, software, Wifi and printers
Developing and maintaining documentation for all ICT support related subjects and providing reports as and when required
Basic infrastructure skills – eg configuration and support, troubleshooting laptops, equipment, Wifi issues and printers
Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
Working in different shifts between 8:00 and 17:30, depending on the department schedule
Self-motivated, self-starter, and challenge-seeker
Competence/Knowledge regarding IT-related products and equipment used in the departments
Behavior to remain calm, courteous and professional when handling difficult situations in the high speed and stress environment.
Hands-on experience with remote support tools to manage end-user hardware, OS and desktop applications
Ability to recognize and focus on critical issues, balance multiple tasks, structure the work day and respond to competing needs within the organization.
Service minded Client support and liaison skills
