Visma IT & Communications AS is now looking for a passionate Service Owner to strengthen the Cloud Service Brokerage team. The Cloud Services Brokerage is the single interface between the cloud providers and the group providing combined technology, people and methodologies to ensure Visma’s place as one of the leading cloud software providers in Europe. As the Cloud Services Brokers in Visma we provide our expertise, along with the best tools and practices to manage the use, performance and delivery of cloud services for the entire group.

The Service Owner will be responsible for the lifecycle management of the cloud services (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform), including profit/loss, stakeholder management, functional requirements for new/existing services and continuous improvement of the services. Service Owner works in close cooperation with the customers, and follows the general development in the market to know what is important for the customers in the future.

Accountable for the end to end services delivery for AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform, which include the following tasks: 

  • develop the cloud services strategy and the corresponding roadmaps

  • prioritize initiatives 

  • establish the Profit & Loss on owned services 

  • create value adding services 

  • assist the organization with cost savings in the cloud 

  • involved in contracts negotiations with partners and vendors 

  • authorize the release of new capabilities 

  • review and update owned service descriptions

  •  coordinate and run vendor programs and initiatives

  • manage escalations towards vendors on behalf of the organization

  • stakeholder management on owned services 

  • act as the contact point between the vendors and the organization 

  • perform risk analysis and management of Managed RIs 

  • assist internal stakeholders with Cloud related questions and/or activities (legal, quality, finance, service management, vendor management etc.) 

  • support new and existing customers with their onboarding to public cloud 

  • coordinate meetings with Visma customers and vendors on public cloud related topics 

  • create and share posts and articles in different public cloud topics 

  • review and approve invoices 

  • work with the other Service owners on activities related to the Service Catalog 

  • create and present monthly business reviews on owned services


Your skills:

  • Minimum 3 years' further education, e.g. BSc or MSc in Economy or IT 

  • Preferably 3-5 years of relevant experience in similar positions with IT service delivery/product management

  • Project lead or team lead experience

  • Customer-oriented behaviour

  • Genuine drive to deliver quality and continuously improve the performance

  • Skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing and executing simultaneous projects and activities

  • Understanding the IT Service industry as well as the relevant marketplace

  • Effectively cope with change; comfortably adjust to alterations in work activities; able to decide and act with limited information; effectively handle risk and uncertainty in ambiguous situations

  • Background in product development and/or product ownership

  • Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem solving skills in a variety of situations

  • Highly effective written and oral communication skills.

  • Negotiation capabilities and problem solving mindset

  • Strong skills in communication and cooperation

  • Fluency in English is required

  • IT background would be an additional advantage
