Infrastructure Engineer

We have a challenging opportunity for an ambitious and motivated Infrastructure Engineer (IE) to join our team. You will be working with some of the best domain experts and developers in Romania and Norway, in an organization in strong growth where SaaS and cloud are a major part of the strategy. And you will be a vital contributor in our efforts to modernize one of Norway's largest software successes. Our team is responsible for the development, testing, support and operation of Master Data Management (MDM) and Message Router (MR) services. Both services are AWS Cloud based. MDM stores master data (cost units, cost unit types, general ledger, and so on), manages centrally and provides a way to synchronise the same master data between several different systems. We have over 30 different integrations with other systems in Visma and support 17 different master data types. Master Data Management is a central system that keeps all integrated applications together. MR is a cloud messaging system, responsible for routing messages to different Visma services and processing several hundreds millions messages each month. It uses ActiveMQ and OpenMQ brokers and never loses any message.  We are doing live deployments with no disruption of the performance under  big load.

We will use technologies and platforms like  Amazon Web Services and Docker to achieve this. Our goal is to make our customers more efficient through modern solutions with a high degree of automation. We would like to hear your input on this and you will be the person to make it happen.
