We are looking for a passionate Security Solutions Engineer for maintaining and improving security solutions delivering highly effective services which have a major contribution to the company's security deliverance.
You must have a drive to integrate high quality software components, hardware components, security, database, systems, and business continuity planning that will run in a complex technical environment. The solutions will be tailored based on customers and users needs , custom code will get written, test cases and test processes have to be defined and implemented.
You will be a member of the Security Department, where your skills and contributions to manage our security systems will be very visible. You must love to work with SaaS, PaaS and IaaS environments in public and private clouds, help team members and to receive help from them. The team is international so you will use English both written and orally.

Master's or Bachelor's degree in related fields, preferably Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics areas, with an overall minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Highly skilled in Linux administration
Data analysis/data mining, logs ingestion and processing (Elasticsearch, Graylog)
Experience with virtualization, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), SaaS and PaaS services
DevOps experience (CloudFormation, terraform, ansible or similar)
Operating systems administration, strong understanding of OS functionalities
NoSQL database knowledge (architecture and relations), database technologies
Management of cluster based technologies is a plus
Experience with scripting and programming languages such as: python, ruby, bash scripting
Experience in working with Git-like technologies
In-depth technical knowledge within information security areas is an advantage
Experience in implementing security solutions, in vulnerability testing, risk analyses and security assessments is an advantage
Effectively cope with change; comfortably adjust to alterations in work activities; able to decide and act with limited information; effectively handle risk and uncertainty in ambiguous situations
Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem solving skills in a variety of situations
Customer oriented behaviour
Fast learner - research capabilities for obtaining required information
Highly effective written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and experience dealing effectively with a wide range of people
Fluency in Business English is required
Work with systems and solutions administration services in relation with various aspects of information security technologies and processes
Develop code with quality, scalability and extensibility
Provide code documentation and other inputs to technical documents
Design and implement robust, highly secured applications
Engineering good systems which meet goals, requirements, SLA’s, and other quality attributes
Design systems for operational efficiency, automation and ease of operation
Develop, document and communicate system design
Drive maintenance of the system, including functional and security patching
Manage, report and monitor services system capacity
Professional stakeholder management in cooperation with service management to capture goals, requirements and SLA’s for the service
Contributes to security programs for the organization
Contribute to team design discussions with detailed technical information
Attends conferences and trainings as required to maintain proficiency

Security Department drives the Visma corporate governing model, oversees information security to ensure the objectives of the organisation are achieved.

Security department is organised as a Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT aka CERT) and a Coordination Center (CC aka SOC) - Visma CSIRT/CC.
