C# Developer

We’re looking to strengthen our great product team with one or two sharp C# developers. If you consider yourself to be more of a full stack developer, then we’d also love to talk to you!

Sproom provides electronic invoicing services for ERPs, enterprises and integration partners in Denmark. Backed by Visma e-conomic, Sproom is uniquely positioned to grow even stronger and manifest our strong brand and services.

You and the Sproom product team will decide how to design and implement new functionality. We work on a C# stack with a SQL Server backend and we’re hosted on Azure and Google Cloud. We process more than half a million electronic documents per month and handle a couple of million requests on a daily basis.  

Our product team is distributed across Copenhagen, Krakow and Timișoara, but we meet physically a couple of times a year for work and fun. We pride ourselves on keeping our team cohesion and engagement top tier. We care about tech and about growing our skills. But above all; we care about each other and about how we grow as a team.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute towards building a scalable and stable platform

• Build features that reach tens of thousands of our customers and partners

• Work closely together with a dedicated team of passionate developers, highly skilled supporters and the partners that consume our API

• Write elegant, clean, testable and efficient code

• Review the code of others and have your own code reviewed

• Write tests, and watch them run green

• Push often, deploy early, and always measure and improve what you work on

• Be responsible for the daily health of the system

Qualifications:

• Experience in C#, .NET

• 2 years of professional experience

• Some knowledge of public API design

• Knowledge of – or an urge to learn – new tools and technologies

• Interest in Continuous Integration, DevOps and high-frequency deployments

• Excellent English communication skills

• Burning passion for building, shipping, and deploying business-critical web applications with strong backend services

• You are comfortable writing OO code in C#

• You are no stranger to relational databases and SQL

• Some frontend skills (Blazor and/or JavaScript) is an advantage
