Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a driven Infrastructure Engineer who shares our passion to make everyday life easier for our customers!

At Visma, our goal is to develop our cloud services with a DevOps mindset, which means that you will be part of one or more development teams where your area of ​​responsibility is infrastructure and operations. The operation of the cloud services is done today in Microsoft Azure, which means that you get an opportunity to work with the latest technology together with developers in an agile development environment.

About the role

• Implement changes in the operating environment and processes to ensure optimal and safe operation with high performance together with the development team

• Initiate, implement and maintain tools for automation of deployment and monitoring. You will participate in the entire development process so that the product can be delivered in both a test and production environment.

• Continuously maintain, improve and upgrade existing infrastructure

• Work with troubleshooting and alerts

• Stay up to date on news and changes and actively contribute to architectural decisions

• Some of the tools you will be working with are Github, Azure, Teamcity and Octopus

You will work with the product Visma Skatt & Bokslut Pro. It is a cloud-based solution used for continuous reconciliation as well as annual report and tax return. It contains smart functions and processes to automate the work of the accounting firm and the small business owner. By working continuously in the product during the year, the user becomes more efficient and has a more even workload.

About you

We are looking for you who have experience or want to develop in one of these areas:

• Has experience of working with DevOps

• Has worked with operation of web-based systems

• Good knowledge and experience of SQL Server 

• Has worked with monitoring of cloud services

• If you are a developer and are interested in operations and safety issues, we see it as a great advantage

You will have daily contact with employees in other countries and communicating in English should feel natural to you.

You work independently, you are responsible and trust in your own abilities. At the same time, you like to belong to a team that works towards common goals and of course you are a helpful and supportive colleague. Your positivism and enthusiasm often spread to others!
